I have done this hat for our baby son who is 3.5 months at the moment.

3mm needles
100% Wendy supreme luxury cotton
Gauge 24st=10cm,
34rows=10cm.

Cast on 76st
Row 1-6 *K1, P1* repeat between **
Row7-34 knit,
Row 35-50 divide all st into 5parts, reduse 5st every second row
Row 51-56 reduse by 5st every row Pull yarn through left st.
Decorate as desired.
